Hello!
Welcome to Jo Jingles Derby, my name is Gemma and I am new to the Jo Jingles family. I first experienced a Jo Jingles session in 2019 with my daughter which not only did she love but it also helped me with being a first time mum. Over the last 7 years Jo Jingles became a huge part of our lives and the musical aspect was embedded into my daughter from an early age. She now loves music, dance and drama. My son also attended sessions from 2021 and with his special needs its helped him with his development in so many areas.
I have worked in various nurseries for 13 years and believe children learn from an early age and music plays an important role for them. Music can progress in all seven areas of a child's development and fundamentally helps every child's needs and abilities. In 2024 I achieved a degree in Childhood Studies and through this course I was curious to learn more about special needs and moved onto my masters.
My goal is to spread the love of music to all children, support first time parents or SEN parents. I feel with my knowledge and experience we are going to create some fantastic memories together and see some rising stars through our Jo Jingles sessions!

About Jo Jingles
Jo Jingles has been inspiring little learners through the power of music for over 30 years. Our carefully designed classes help children develop essential skills while having fun with music, movement, and creative play.
FAQs
What age groups do you cater for?
We offer classes for children from 3 months to 7 years, and children usually move between groups based on ability, confidence and readiness rather than strictly on their birthday.
Do I need to stay for the session?
For our younger age groups (under 4), we encourage parents and carers to stay and participate in the fun!
How long does a class last?
Most Jo Jingles classes run for 30–45 minutes, depending on the age group and the session format offered by your local franchisee.
What happens if we miss a class?
We understand life happens! Please contact your local teacher to discuss make-up options or catch-up sessions.
